ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COMPANY-JUNE 2001
On the initiative of the Association of Information Companies of Northern Greece (SEPVE) established Technopolis Thessaloniki SA to develop the first High Technology Business Park with the participation of the most important IT companies in Northern Greece and several institutions and organizations of the city
EVALUATION OF LAND FOR CREATING OF TECHNOPOLIS
In collaboration with AN international Real Estate firm, Technopolis Thessaloniki evaluates more than 20 sites in suburban Thessaloniki and finally selected land of about 100 acres in the American Farm School of the Municipality of Pilea
SUBMISSION FOR APPROVAL - SEPTEMBER 2003
In collaboration with a consulting firm, the preparation and submission to the Ministry of Development of the required documents for the approval of the Joint Ministerial Decision on establishing the limits of Technopolis Thessaloniki
ISSUE OF JOINT MINISTERIAL DECISION - March 2004
In March 2004 the Joint Ministerial Decision issued on the establishment of Technopolis Thessaloniki VEPE according to Law 2545/97 and setting the limits of Technopolis and the approval of the Environmental Impact
ESTABLISHMENT OF A TECHNICAL SERVICE - JULY 2004
Under the law the responsibilities of the Technical Service Agent assigned to VIPETBA SA which has great experience in similar infrastructure work.
SUBMISSION FOR APPORVAL OF URBAN DESIGN -FEBRUARY 2005
Submitted for review and approval of the Urban Design and the street plan of Technopolis Thessaloniki
APPROVAL OF INVESTMENT PLAN -JULY 2005
Issued on 21/7/2005 by the Ministry of Development, General Secretariat of Industry, the decision to approve funding of the project for the development of Technopolis Business Park
SIGNING OF A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WITH THE MUNICIPALITY OF PYLAIAS-NOVEMBER 2005
On November 2005, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Municipality of Pylaia which recognizes the importance of the construction and operation of the first Technopolis in Greece within the limits of Pylaia
APPROVAL OF THE URBAN DESIGN - MAY 2006
The General Secretary of Central Macedonia approved the Urban Design of Technopolis Thessalonikis Park
COMPLETION OF INFRASTRUCTURE STUDIES - DECEMBER 2006
Completed the preparation of definitive studies of infrastructure including Roads, Water Supply – Sewage, Electrical supply and telecommunications.
BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION OF INFRASTRUCTURE WORKDS - JUNE 2007
The construction of infrastructure work was assigned to ETETH SA which began the construction of infrastructure
FOUNDATION 0F TECHNOPOLIS THESSALONIKI-JULY 2007
On July 2007 the foundation ceremony of Technopolis Thessaloniki took place with the presence of Minister of Development
TRANSFER OF LAND IN COMPANIES, SHAREHOLDERS FOR THE INSTALLATION IN TECHNOPOLI - SEPTEMBER 2007
The process of transfer of land to 22 shareholders of Technopolis for their installation within the Park began
SIGNING OF A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WITH THE EYATH SA - MAY 2008
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the EYATh (water supply company of Thessaloniki) and Technopolis SA for cooperation on technology matters
BUILDING PERMIT WAS ISSUED FOR INCUBATOR BUILDING - JUNE 2008
The building permit for the new incubator building was issued and construction began
COMPLETION OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND INAUGURATION CEREMONY - JULY 2008
The construction of the infrastructure works of the first High-Tech Business Park in Greece was completed and the inauguration ceremony took place with the presence of Minister of Development

FINAL APPROVAL FOR THE OPERATION OF TECHNOPOLIS VEPE - FEBRUARY 2009
The final approval according to Law 2545/97 was issued by the Ministry of Development allowing the formal operation of the Park as an Industrial Area
COMPLETION OF THE BUILDING IN INCUBATOR AND RELOCATION - AUGUST 2009
The construction of the new building of the Incubator was completed and all companies were relocated
SIGNING OF A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WITH THE ALEXANDRIA INNOVATION ZONE- SEPTEMBER 2010
A Memorandum of Understanding between Alexandria Innovation Zone of Thessaloniki and Technopolis SA was signed
A VISIT BY EUROPEAN AGENCY FOR RESEARCH ON NUCLEAR PHYSICS ( CERN ) - APRIL 2011
In supporting the internationalization of business, Technopolis organized an event with a delegation of the European Organization for Research in Nuclear Physics (CERN)
